Ristorante Pappagallo is situated on a 14-acre bird sanctuary overlooking a natural salt water lagoon-home to herons, egrets, ducks and numerous other local and migratory birds.
We will provide transportation to and from the restaurant. Please meet in the Kimpton lobby at 5:30pm if you need transportation to the restaurant. -

Reception
This is what we’ve all really been waiting for. Take a quick walk to the Beach Deck to enjoy a margarita or glass of prosecco while wifey & hubby (wait, us?) snap some photos on the beach. Later enjoy some locally sourced cuisine and late night dancing!

Rachel & Eric
While the actual date of when they first started dating is often debated, they know for sure that it was a two-week whirlwind in January 2017. Even though they both grew up in Secaucus a few grades a part, they never knew each other. It wasn’t until many years later when Rachel was living back home, and Eric was home from school that they finally met. Thanks to their shared (and short-lived) obsession of ping pong, their friends thought it may be a good idea that they meet. Eric persistently pursued Rachel while she made up excuses as to why they couldn’t hang out. Rachel even once blamed mother nature! What Rachel didn’t realize, however, was that she was trying to scare off a future pharmacist! Eric then bought a box of Midol with her favorite color bow & attached a “happy birthday” card but replaced “birthday” with “period.” It was so weird that Rachel was immediately smitten. After spending a dry January day playing ping pong, Eric mentioned that he was going to Dallas the following week with his buddy for the playoff football game. Yet, his buddy would only go if his team (the Giants) won. Being that the Packers were losing against the Giants that game, Rachel (trying to be cool) agreed to go to the Cowboys game if the Packers won. After a comeback win, Rachel was heading to Dallas. They ended up going together and the rest is history. (For all of you wondering, the Packers won vs the Cowboys)
